Italy based leather finishing and drying machinery manufacturers, Fratelli Carlessi will highlight its completely new Cell Rotary Conditioning drier at the upcoming leather exhibitions in Chennai (IILF) and Milan (Simac Tanning-Tech) to be held in February 2016.
[...] Carlessi, in a joint research project with scientists from the Institute of Creative Leather Technology at the University of Northampton, UK collaborated to define the role of conditioning during leather production and help understand, physically, how drying can affect the leather in terms of enhanced area yield and end-use performance.
This resulted in a completely new system for the drying and conditioning of leathers, particularly in full hides for furniture upholstery and automotive interiors. [...]
