CRC is our new generation drying and conditioning system that achieves the requirements of today’s leather processing technologies. It gives a higher quality finish to the product, increases productivity, and allows greater flexibility of use along with lower energy consumption.
Our use of novel technologies in CRC allows for better control of the whole drying process such as humidity, temperature and airflow. Furthermore, it allows complete control of the tension of the leather through the expansion process, reducing waste and damage to the leather.
The new CRC dryer is the result of our approach to innovation in the evolution of the traditional drying and conditioning systems covered by international patents., bringing together the best of our innovation and new patented technologies.

  • TECHNICAL DETAILS

    Independent Cells:
    The drying tunnel is composed of independent cells which can be separately controlled.
    Each cell works as an oven and remains completely independent from the others.
    This ability to set specific temperature, humidity and ventilation conditions within a single cell offers you the flexibility to have a variation across each cell in your production line.
    Each cell also has a skin tensioning/de-tensioning unit, helping to avoid quality variability between different batches of leather and contamination between different hides.

    Redesigned airflow distribution:
    The hides are dried evenly. Traditional dryers havehigher humidity at the bottom of the driers, but the heated air in the CRC flows from the bottom to the top, creating uniform drying environment.

    More hanging space between the hides:
    The larger gap between the individual frames allows the airflow to circulate more easily around the hides, which reduces drying time.
    The crossed airflow system allows the air to reach the central area of the leather more easily than with a traditional ventilation system, avoiding the formation of darker areas along the edges of the skin or colour changes.

    Adjustable leather tension:
    Each cell has its own expansion unit, which can be independently regulated to either expand or relax the leather.
    This patented system allows for more accurate control on the stresses on the fibres, avoiding damage such as loose grain.
    Due to its unique construction, the frames are designed to allow different levels of extension between the head and the rear of the hide.

    Improved drying efficiency:
    The inclusion of heat pumps in the cells accelerates the drying process, due to the reduction in moisture.
    There are also further benefits such the ability to operate with lower drying temperatures and lower energy consumption.

    Automated Workstation:
    The automatic frame rotation system allows operatives to work more efficiently while clipping and removing the skins from the frames.

    Work cycles managed by PLC:
    Recipes and drying cycles can be pre-programmed and recalled ready for production.

A pole dryer system that operates over two levels, which can be used for the drying and conditioning of raw or finished leather. Operators have the ability to set different temperature and air flow settings.
Ability to adjust and automatically control the temperature and humidity, with the possibility of setting different values in individual zones.
The positioning of the leather can either be on the poles or by plastic single/double grip clips.
Working dimensions: 3000 x 1750 mm
