Fratelli Carlessi have developed a new hybrid system that beautifully combines the advantages of the TFC model with infrared radiation energy, which introduced operational flexibility to the drying process. The addition of infrared lamps make it possible to increase the heating power of a single element, or of the entire tunnel.
The ability to control the temperature in each individual element means that the heat can be altered depending on whether the pigment is sprayed on, or applied by roller-coater.

    • Suitable for working with thin skins as they are constantly pressed against the conveyor belt along the entire tunnel

Electric Heated Tunnel

The advantage of electric drying tunnels is the lack of dust and unwanted airflow as the leathers are not being blown around. Unlike ventilated tunnels, electric drying tunnels have a much more compact structure. They are available in two versions: Radiant Panels (TES/S) and Infrared Panels (TES/IR).
The TES/S tunnel uses long-wave radiation energy panels that cover the entire ceiling of the tunnel.
The positioning of the panels on the ceiling allows heat to be evenly distributed over the hides, allowing for more optimal drying and a high quality finished product.
Flexibility is a key advantage of the TES/S tunnel as it can beautifully dry leathers of all types including very thin skins.
The TES/IR tunnel, comes with medium wave infrared quartz lamps, where the temperature of each individual lamp can be controlled independently of the others.
